TPU Skin Case
You can simply think of TPU case as a fusion of Hard Snap-On Case and a Silicone Skin Gel Case. It’s hard and yet flexible enough so it will not crack like the hard case and it’s not too gel-ly so it’s doesn’t attract dust on the case or hard to get it out of your pocket either.
Style Design – TPU Candy Skin Case offers very clean classy look. There are design TPU cases, but thereis a limitation on the colors due the TPU Candy Skin material. Design variations are minimal, but I personally like the clean, one color look. It’s bold, classy and elegant, so it suits my image. Convenience – You’d figure most cases have their pros and cons, but in convenience factor for the TPU Skin Candy Skin, there is no cons that I can think of. Only thing I can think of is not being able to add a belt clip, but that goes for Hard Snap-On case and Silicone case and that can be worked out using a leather case on your belt. Plus who would want to wear this on your belt? That would totally kill the style.
Protection – I have been personally using this case on my iPhone 4 for about 3 months now and I have dropped my phone numerously with this case on and it has protected my iPhone 4 every time. My one-year-old boy is all over my iPhone and it goes through many episodes of abuse every week and with this case on, I don’t get too nervous. He has dropped my phone from the stairs and has intentional threw it on the tile floor we have at the house. The TPU Candy Skin has extra cushion on the corners and it serves as a shock absorbent and when the iPhone drops you can hear a little rubber ball bouncing sound which you get at the $0.25 gumball machine. As for the protection, it does an amazing job.
Usability – TPU Candy Skin Case has all the opening for speakers, charging port, headset and volume control. Depending on which TPU Candy Skin you buy, volume control can be covered or left open. I personally prefer covered, either way, it doesn’t interfere with the use at all.
Price – the price is another key factor that makes TPU one of the best choice. You can grab one from eBay or Amazon for about $6-$10 with shipping. Do NOT buy from brand name cell phone accessories stores like Specks or CaseMate or any retail stores like BestBuy or Apple store, they will rip you off.
Summary: As long as I’ve been in business with cell phone accessories, TPU Candy Skin Case is something we all been waiting for. It offers the best of Hard Snap-on Protector case and Silicone Gel Skin Case. It gives you the look and the protection that you need. This is what I recommend for iPhone 4. I have used every other iPhone 4 accessories in the market, but they just don’t come close to what TPU Candy Skin can do in terms of design and protection along with usability and price.
